Next
Generation Power Engineering has developed and patented a line of ultra-compact
diesel gen-sets that are smaller and lighter than ever thought possible. Starting
with a simple cost effective base unit with several configurations and options
available, gen-sets can be tailored to fit anything from an R.V. to a specialty
emergency vehicle.

Gen-sets
are purchased for many different reasons, such as providing back-up power during
outages, operating equipment on construction sites or performing various duties
as mobile rental units. A new line of gen-sets can be customized at
the time of purchase to best meet the buyer's exact needs.
The RCI series
of radiator-cooled industrial gen-sets, from Next Generation Power Engineering
Inc., produce from 5 kW to 40 kW of power. These rugged, fuel-efficient units
are available in a cost effective base configuration that can be augmented with
a wealth of options.
Each gen-set includes a 3- or 4-cylinder, water-cooled
Kubota diesel engine that operates at 1,800 rpm for a long life and quiet performance.
It's single bearing generator features a brushless rotating field exciter for
non-fluctuating power. Attached to the generator is a solid state electronic voltage
regulator. A 12 volt electric starter allows turnkey starts.
Also standard
are a 12 volt battery charging alternator, fuel filter and transfer pump, dry
air cleaner, muffler, hourmeter, oil change system and automatic engine shutdown
for low oil pressure/high coolant temperature.
Options include a block
heater, circuit breaker, three-phase power, engine instrument panel, sheet metal
enclosure, isolation mounts, fuel tank, on- or 0ff-road trailer, battery with
cables, generator instrument panel with voltage meter, ammeter and frequency meter,
auto engine overspeed shutdown, auto start/stop controller and auto transfer switch.
