The QuietSource home standby generator offers the latest in sound-reduction design in a corrosion resistant enclosure. An engineered air-channeling design, along with sound-deadening material, make this standby generator quieter than a common central air unit sitting outside a house. Sound level ratings are lower than any local municipality’s definition of noise pollution. In fact, when standing in its proximity, you can carry on a normal conversation. Most generators will rust when scratched because of the steel used in their enclosures. The QuietSource line of generators use aluminum. This type of metal resists corrosion, which is extremely important in coastal areas where the salt sea air can destroy most metals. Units run on either natural gas or LP gas.

The all aluminum, corrosion resistant enclosures now house the exclusive Quiet-Test^{™ feature for ultra-quiet operation. This allows for quiet operation during the unit’s weekly self-testing period. When normal utility power is present, Quiet-Test allows the generator to run at reduced speeds, thereby lowering sound pressure by as much as 50%. This is especially important in areas where residences or other businesses are close by.}

PLEASE NOTE: This product requires installation involving permanent outdoor placement, electrical wiring and fuel source connections. Natural gas pressure of 5" -14" of water column (0.18 to 0.5 psi) LP gas pressure of 11"-14" of water column (0.4 to 0.5) is required.
